Role Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth for Playe in Australia. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a business development strategy that aligns with Playe’s overall growth goals. This is a very exciting role, and one that will come with a lot of potential opportunities. The role is based in Sydney.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales or related role
- Proven track record of successfully driving new business growth
- Strong understanding of the marketing and advertising industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
How You'll Make An Impact
- Identify and target potential new clients through research and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at targeted companies
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and new business opportunities
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients
- Negotiate and close new business deals
- Collaborate with the agency's creative and account management teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to new clients
- Monitor and report on the progress of business development activities and results
